The mission of TriStar Skyline Medical Center is to continually improve the health and quality of the people in the communities we serve. That’s why we are pleased to introduce you to our Hospitalist/Intensivist program.
Hospitalists and Intensivists manage patient care throughout the hospital. These physicians assess patients in the Emergency Room, admit patients, arrange for specialty consultants and arrange post-hospital care. After consulting with your personal physician and updating them on the care you have received, you are then referred back to your doctor for outpatient care. By focusing their practice entirely on the care of a hospitalized patient, Hospitalists and Intensivists can better care for a patient’s needs.
