Stroke and Cerebral Vascular Care
Minimizing delays is a crucial step in improving outcomes with acute stroke therapies whose efficacy is clearly time dependent. Logistic and human barriers to rapid stroke care can be overcome with a systematic “Code Stroke” approach provided by a structured multi-disciplinary acute stroke response team. In Middle Tennessee, the most advanced interventions are available at TriStar Skyline Medical Center — the state’s 1st nationally recognized Primary Stroke Center. Our stroke program has been certified by the Joint Commission and given its “Gold Seal of Approval” for providing the greatest breadth and depth of specialists and advanced services for stroke patients.
The Neuroscience Center at TriStar Skyline Medical Center is at the forefront of stroke diagnosis, treatment and prevention. By partnering with many local hospitals, we can offer an extraordinary continuum of stroke care that begins in the emergency room and continues in the outpatient setting.
